Senior HR Manager Germany m/f/d

You will drives the HR strategy to attract, develop, transform (where needed) and retain the best talent for the country, fostering a high-performance culture and organizational development. Ensures HR initiatives are aligned where possible to the Group strategy and initiatives.

Reports to & place in the organisation
Reporting to the Managing Director of the country. Is part of the Country Management Team and of the People & Culture team across the organization.

Functionally reporting into the Group Director People & Culture role, contributing to a cohesive and strategic alignment of People & Culture initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • People Strategy and Planning for the country:
  • Develop and execute the local people strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives and values;
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to implement workforce planning and talent management strategies;
  • Contributes to the People & Culture annual project calendar and group projects.

  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding for the country:

  • Lead recruitment efforts, partnering with hiring managers to attract top talent and ensure a positive onboarding experience;
  • Develop and refine recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and diversity.

  • Employee Engagement and Culture Building for the country:

  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention;
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by driving programs, promoting values, and initiatives that reinforce a positive work environment.

  • Performance Management and Development for the country:

  • Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting, good honest conversations on expectations (feedback), and development plans;
  • Design and implement learning and development programs aligned with business objectives.

  • HR Operations and Compliance for the country:

  • Manage and execute HR operations, including on- and offboarding, payroll, policies, benefits administration, and HRIS management;
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies;
  • Facilitates reporting on People & Culture metrics where needed for management and group;
  • Support with internal and external audits.

  • Employee Relations and Support for the country:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent resolution;
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration/ Social Sciences/ HR or equivalent;
  • 10+ years of experience in HR management roles, preferably within the technology, or B2B services industry;
  • Proven track record of managing HR/ Talent strategies that drive business enablement;
  • People management skills and experience in building out/ standardizing HR processes;
  • Hands-on and can do mentality;
  • Expertise in HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Engagement, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management and Learning& Development;
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving;
  • Strong collaboration skills;
  • Good interpersonal communication skills in both German and English
