Helping to heat the High Tech Campus

Our data center in Eindhoven is also one of the first data centers in the world to be built according to the cradle-to-cradle principle. The possible re-use of components and building materials in the future were key considerations during construction and the choice of materials. In addition, residual heat from this data center is brought via an underground ring system to other businesses on the High Tech Campus. In return, we receive cold water, which we then use to cool our customers’ IT systems. All of this allows for a significant reduction of our power consumption and cooling needs. In addition, businesses on the High Tech Campus are able to lower their own carbon footprint.

Interconnected

The Eindhoven data center is connected to all other NorthC locations in the Netherlands, via our Region Connect Ring. This means maximum flexibility for our customers. You can set up a twin data center solution, with real-time data replication between multiple data centers. For example, between the region of Brabant and the Rotterdam-The Hague area. With two locations, an uptime of 100% can be achieved, which is essential to the continuity of your business processes. In addition, our data center gives you access to the services of partners that are located in other NorthC data centers. The Region Connect Ring is our digital gateway to the rest of the Netherlands and to the world.
